How much physical therapy does Medicare cover?
Body Werks Physical Therapy is a provider for Medicare.  There is no limit to physical therapy visits with an active doctor’s prescription.

What is a gait analysis?
Through a sophisticated network of computer sensors placed on the lower extremities and video cameras to record the walking and running process, abnormal body movement can be critically evaluated and its influence on other parts of the body can be determined. A gait analysis allows clinicians to pinpoint your problem areas and develop a comprehensive plan of care. This may include proper footwear, flexibility and strength deficits.

Does insurance cover gait analysis?
Yes, gait analysis is included in your physical therapy coverage.  If you do not have health insurance,  please contact our office at 847-253-2944 for pricing.

What do I need to bring to my gait analysis?

Shorts and a T-shirt, dress shoes, running/walking shoes and orthotics (if you have them).  Please do not apply lotion to your legs prior to your gait analysis.
