• Bachelor of Science in Physical therapy from University of Wisconsin – Madison, 1988

Experience

Barb initially worked at Gottlieb Hospital treating both inpatient and outpatient clients. She soon realized her desire to work in out-patient orthopedics. She also enjoys working with young athletes and became a Certified Athletic Trainer in June, 1994. She worked for three years in San Francisco before returning to Illinois in 1999. She still appreciates the challenge and diverse population found in outpatient orthopedics.

Barb enjoys running with her dogs and has completed several marathons including Boston. She has the most fun watching her son and daughter compete and perform in their activities. Most free time is spent outdoors with her husband and children hiking, biking, and generally messing around.
